U2-IDE01F is an USB 2.0 to IDE(ATA/ATAPI) bridge board.

It implements a fixed-function bridge between one USB high-speed port and one IDE(ATA/ATAPI) based mass storage device port. The bridge adheres to the Mass Storage Class Bulk-Only Transport Specification (BOT) and is intended for self-powered device.

U2-IDE01F It is ideally suitable for tailgating removable-media devices such as CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, tape drive, and hard disk drive. It allows IDE drive (master or slave) to connect to USB 2.0 serial bus in a plug-and-play fashion.
