Introduction

EPCIE8XRDCA03A is External PCIe (SFF-8644 1x2) to PCIe x8 Gen 3 Active (Redriver with Linear Equalization) Cable Adapter, it requires no additional software or drivers to operate.

Designed to overcome the limited PCIe connectivity of most server computers, the EPCIE8XRDCA03A can be quickly and easily set up for external connection.

EPCIE8XRDCA03A provides programmable Linear Equalization, Output Swing and Flat Gain by pin strapping easily. The programmable settings can be applied easily via jumper. EPCIE8XRDCA03A offers fully Linear Transfer function to fully comply with all PCIe 3 Link Training signals.

The integrated equalization circuitry provides flexibility with signal integrity of the PCI Express signal before the Redriver, whereas the integrated Flat Gain circuitry provides flexibility with signal integrity of the PCI Express signal after the Redriver.
