Introduction

The EDH-1XP32X40 expands PCI Express connectivity from your desktop computer, enabling seamless, high performance, and reliable control of up to four remote PCI devices.

No additional software or drivers are needed – the remote devices operate as if they were directly installed in your computer.

Designed to overcome the limited PCI connectivity of most desktop computers, the EDH-1XP32X40 can be quickly and easily set up for multi-I/O, high throughput, or hazardous applications.

EDH-1XP32X40 includes a PCI Express x1 to PCI (32bit/66MHz) bridge with high performance and low power consumption. The typical usage for this device is for applications that require a “bridge” from legacy PCI products to new PCI Express based systems. EDH-1XP32X40 provides four PCI 5V/32-bit slots and one single-lane Internal PCIe port (IOI Proprietary) for connecting to the PCIe cable adapter through ePCIe x1 Cable.
